Does anybody use Flags it Buttons instead of Bonds in the Gauntlet Hangout DW games? Sounds like it could be a great way to run a campaign where you have different characters playing from week to week, while still meeting the intent of Bonds.

  1. I think it’d be great, especially for our Wednesday night games where we have a looser collection of people coming, and thus less chance to see high level skills in plan. I also would hope to see it draw people into role playing their character a bit more.

  3. I like this a lot (I think it was brought to my attention by someone before). My distaste for Bonds is well-known. I’ve been trying to fiddle with them to make them work, but they’re still just not shaking out for me. This Flags idea seems worth a try.

  5. Ferrell Riley Yes, and it would work well with a superhero genre like Worlds in Peril, where you might have a rotating cast. And who doesn’t like pushing other people’s Buttons for XP?
