Because my week is about to get a great deal busier, I will be unable to run OSR Tuesday after the 19th of January. I’m sorry about this, but I won’t be able to run a game at that time for about six months (depending on the length of my contract), and most of my weeknights are already booked with other ongoing campaigns and commitments.

I would like it if someone would be willing to raise the Freak Flag and volunteer to be GM for a while. The only requirement is that you run an old Old-School game(Original Edition D&D, AD&D 1st Ed., B/X, BECMI, Traveller, etc.) or a new Old-School game (Torchbearer, DCC RPG, ACK, etc.).

Let me know if you are interested, so Jason and Rob can coordinate, etc.

  1. This isn’t really my area of expertise but my Tuesdays are coming free here shortly (finally!). There are some I have been wanting to play but I just lack the skillset for these as a GM. Of those listed, the only thing I have ran is Traveller (I really started playing proper with 2nd ed D&D). I have a friend who is a rabid OSR enthusiast so I will reach out to him.

  3. Wow I didn’t know you did some OSR games on a regular basis.  I am working on an adventure using Monsters&Magic.  I will probably need play testers once it’s done which is soon.  I’ll see if I can get some free time to run that if possible.

  5. Hey Doyle, I’ve been super busy, like everyone else in this mad, mad world; yet, I did get a chance to see this post.  I’m still working on my Monsters and Magic Adventure.  I don’t know if I’ll have it done for the 26th, maybe the first chapter.  I have been putting together a FATE conversion for Fading Suns for my students.  They hated that system, but loved the setting.  I agreed I would try to get together a FATE version they could use and I’ve been busy not only wondering why I agreed to such lunacy, but also putting it together with some degree of success.  I don’t want to commit and not be ready, or not commit and end up missing out on a fantabulous game – oh well, you can’t have your cake and eat it too! So I have to bow out for right now, if things change I’ll let your know.
