  1. Robert Bohl Haha, thanks. Yeah, I was super-stoked when I saw you liked my game so much, but I couldn’t say anything because of anonymity. I also wrote Transmission.

  3. This does, of course, come off like a huge conspiracy.  The podcast interviewed three people before the announcement of the winner:  the contest organizer and two out of the three writers of the winning game.

    Well, OK.  A small conspiracy.

  5. Steve Mains You figured it out! The entire contest was a conspiracy between myself, Daniel Lewis, Paul Czege, Grant Howitt and Joshua Fox for mutual self-promotion. Josh does have a KS that’s live right now…

  7. I’d like to use this space to congratulate the people who worked on Timelines (Willow Palecek, Bill White and Chris Longhurst). If not for Field Work, that is the game we would have gotten behind. It was so original and fascinating. It is still the one Threeforged game I think about a lot.

  9. Robert Bohl I’ve just finished reading The Automatic Limes (cute name, btw), and it’s very interesting…I actually liked how the third author built on your idea to make it more sharply a Twilight Zone-esque set-up. However, I greatly prefer your scene-framing structure. There are shades of MY there in the way the group therapy scenes progress along a path. I’d have to playtest the conflict resolution system, but my impression is it doesn’t have the “why are we turning these knobs?” problem of the final version.

  11. Robert Bohl Yeah, I’m thinking about it. It’s just down the road, in fact. I may stop by just to meet people in person and set-up some interviews, if nothing else.

  13. Robert Bohl I sent you a message on HO, but not everyone uses that, so I decided to message you here, too. We are recording the Threeforged retrospective episode on October 26th at 7:30 pm Eastern. Do you care to join us?
