I cast Boyz II Men, which polymorphs my young apprentice into a burly fighter for d6+2 rounds (or until I cast the reversal spell, Babyface). While polymorphed, he can make a New Jack Swing attack with his mace at a +1.
In a commanding voice, I order him to attack the three-headed demon Bell Biv DeVoe while I begin somatic component: sweet footwork for my next spell.
I can only hope the demon doesn’t have time to cast Poison.
