New Bundle of Holding just went up. This time it’s games from the Indie Game Developers Network. I’ll mention what I know of them. The starter collection is games I either haven’t or have just barely heard of. The Bonus games I’m a bit more familiar with.
There’s Misspent Youth, which I’m reading through now (and which sounds awesome; I know Daniel Lewis loves it).
I have Spark, but have yet to play. Its setting creation is really interesting. I’ll have to give it a try to test it out.
I’ve played Fortune’s Fool. It runs off of tarot cards, so that tarot deck you bought wasn’t just for Hell 4 Leather and worshiping Satan. It’s fun, but pretty fiddly; takes place in a strange historical Europe bent by orcs and dwarves and living fairy tales.
And then there’s curse the darkness and Wu Xing: The Ninja Crusade, both of which pique my interest.
Anybody know something about these games?
I’ve read and enjoyed reading Spark and Misspent Youth, but haven’t played them yet. 🙁
However, my bud Nathan has some play experience with Misspent Youth, and he wrote an after-action review here: http://thekitchensink123.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-real-misspent-youth-review.html

Misspent Youth is terrific. We played five or six sessions last year. Also: tomorrow’s podcast might have something to say about Misspent Youth.
