  1. Derek Grimm  The only quibble I have with it is one Jacob Densford noted in another post: the Lulu print job is a bit underwhelming in terms of quality. My books looks ‘wavy’ when viewed from the side you turn the pages on. I don’t know if it’s because the book is so thick, or if it’s something  to do with the paper and ink.

Substantively, though, it’s very interesting so far. You can check it out tonight, if you want.

  3. Another thought on the print quality: I actually don’t mind it because I think it is just fantastic that folks even have this self-publishing option.

Concerning content: I’ve skimmed the whole book and read a few of the archetypes and specialties in full, and I’ve definitely seen some really neat and exciting stuff. Though, I would have liked to see the archetype coverage be a little more broad, but the author said it wasn’t his intention, so I can’t fault him for it. I’m also not sure if I would have organized the book in the same way, but then again, I can’t think of a better way, so what do I know? Lastly, I think my favorite part is the appendix of moves. I can see this coming in handy.
