Has anybody in the Gauntlet played Puppetland?

Has anybody in the Gauntlet played Puppetland? I ran/played it once, years ago, and just recently a Kickstarter was started for it.

And you can find out more about it here. The original game is still free, at one of the connecting links:

  1. This looked fun and I’m a fan of Arc Dreams so I backed it already. Seems to be a pretty disturbing premise and I imagine the rules are very straight forward. Could be a good time.

  3. I’d have to look in my copy. Honestly I think it was four. It’s very deliberate in play, because of the speaking requirements. Each player is required to narrate for the character in third person:  “Johnny Bull rush raises his hand and places it on the knob of the door. Knees knocking, he pulls open the door, saying “Oh, my, I hope all the blood seeping from behind the door does not portend any horrible sights!”  etc.

  5. Goddamnit, you guys.  I am not made of money.  This has enough cool stuff added to it that I think I’ll have to back it even though I’ve got the old Hogshead edition.

(Anybody know if this means John Tynes is back doing rpgs again?)
