The Gauntlet Anthology: The Boardgame!

The Gauntlet Anthology: The Boardgame!

The Gauntlet Anthology: The Boardgame!

The goal is to get enough players to play your game, using a combo of influence, in jokes, and terrible game choices!

Ideas so far:

Jason Cordova – gets a free pizza food card every round

Daniel Lewis – always able to draw a random game card

Daniel Fowler – instantly wins the game if he gets at least one person to agree to play nuclear war!

  1. I think we all need to come up with a game, our own character and maybe another un-named character or character trait.

    Nuclear war:

    minimum 4 players:

    Max: none

Traits: Always the last choice for un-seated players except Daniel Fowler.

If Played: The game ends and every player loses, unless Daniel is playing in which case the controlling player wins.

    Daniel Fowler

traits: Gauntlet Regular, Fat, war gamer

Must play nuclear war if available.  will leave other tables and cannot be nocked out by any card except “work emergency”

    That guy: Messy eater

pick an un-named player at a table with food.  He gains the Fat trait and the food is removed.

  13. “casual” gamers

play this card on a table.  each un-named player is worth half points when the game is scored.  These players are worthless if Jason is at the table

“Dare you enter my magical realm?” or “like the stalking lizards of the nightmare marsh”

pick an RPG, the DM adds their own personal fetish and un-named players abandon the table for the un assigned pool.  gauntlet regulars are worth double
