Some pics from Anthology Friday and Cardboard Thursday. For Thursday, we continued the Pathfinder Card Game. I really, REALLY love that game. Its charms just keep unfurling the more you play it. We finished the introductory adventure, Perils of the Lost Coast, and are moving into the main adventure path, Rise of the Runelords, next week.

Our game of Dungeon World for the Anthology series was a ton of fun. Lots of laughter and high-stakes adventure, which is pretty much all you can ask for (and the pizza even came!!).  We introduced some new characters last night:

Astrafel, the elven bard, who faced some very cruel die rolls last night, but also some of the most nail biting scenes;

Pigeon Head, the human ranger, whose name I initially hated, but grew to like once I realized he was a sort-of hermit/urban legend type character. His animal companion was a surly, heavy-breathing, obese pigeon;

and Elana, the human druid, who may have used her quarterstaff to inadvertently tee-ball the aforementioned pigeon out of a skeleton’s clutches.

The party was on their way to Reaver’s Rock, to spend some coin on whores and drink, before getting back to Gull Town. They were sidetracked, however, by the appearance of a legendary ghost ship, the Red Scorpion.

Thanks to everyone who came out to both nights: Daniel Fowler Ferrell Riley Benjamin Davis David LaFreniere Jeff Burke Kristina Vansickle Marcus Centurian (Brandon) arturo martinez (Isaac) Kristen D Scott Owen and Gary Wilson
