  1. I thought it was cool, too.  It’s got a similar vibe to Archipelago, but a slightly different focus.  

    Archipelago always seems to work best with a simple setting that everyone can immediately grok so you can focus on the characters’ personal stories, but Questlandia seems really good at creating really complex, interesting settings.  I think we actually spent longer on the initial world creation than we did running scenes for our characters, but the world creation was super fun and I really loved the setting we came up with.  When we were running scenes, it felt like the focus was less on our character’s personal stories and more on how their actions change the world around them, a bit like a really focused version of Microscope.
