So I received my book for this game recently and I read through it last night. It sounds like something that would be rather fun to play. The mechanics for combat resolution seem a little odd and clunky to me but I like everything else that I read. Has anyone tried this out yet? Anyone else read it and have thoughts on it?

  1. I haven’t taken a look at the most recent ruleset, but back when it was in the kickstarter phase, I was unimpressed by the conflict resolution system. Additionally, I didn’t really make the connection between the game’s mechanics and the theme of intelligent magic items. That’s kind of a deal breaker for me, but obviously I’d want to play it before settling on an opinion.

  3. I agree on the conflict resolution. I think the concept overall is gonzo yet interesting. I suppose I found it interesting enough to back it and I would certainly sit at a table to try it.
