Last night, Derek Grimm Rob Ferguson and myself continued our exploration of the Anthology world. We used Kingdom to explore the realm of the gods. The details from this session will be added to the Anthology folder.

As for Kingdom, it’s a pretty neat system. It worked well for our purposes. I think it would positively sing when telling a story smaller in scope. It, along with its companion game, Microscope, are very well thought-out and lots of fun. I can’t wait to get both of them to the table again.

  1. The only alteration I would make for our game is to only have 1 check for Time Passes. Since we were playing gods, I feel like there should have been more jumps in the time line, and 1 check instead of 3 would accomplish that. We would advance time after resolving every Crossroads and whenever there was a scene that didn’t ferment unrest or move the Crossroads forward
