Some pics from last night’s game of The Quiet Year. It was an intriguing game, filled with nuance. Ultimately, our community didn’t get along very well, and ended up chasing absurd fantasies rather than coping with immediate threats. I believe our community probably paid a high price when the Frost Shepherds arrived.

We didn’t have enough people for The Quiet Year (probably because of Father’s Day), so Ferrell Riley  and I played Mars Colony.

I don’t normally go for these pre-made maps, but this one looked too good to pass up for the brand-new Dungeon World campaign. The reverse is a nice pub crawl with a seaman’s chapel.

A couple of pics from last night’s Pulp! game. We were SAS troops (and one member of the French Maquis) clashing with some Templars bent on resurrecting Joan of Arc and bringing back the reign of Charlemagne.

So, I’d like to get the Story Game Sunday calendar filled out for the rest of the summer. If someone is interested in running a game, these dates are open: 07.14, 07.28, 08.11, 08.25, and 09.08. If you have a game that is better in multiple sessions (such as Polaris or Dogs in the Vineyard), I am open to giving you more than one slot.
