I decided to give this a go. There are still 2 spots left. Any new GMs out there thinking about it?

Mandatory Fun Club

We often have people approach us with an interest in running a game over Hangouts, but they feel uncertain about the logistics of doing so. Maybe they aren’t familiar with our procedures, or they aren’t sure if they are set up properly from a tech standpoint.

Daniel Fowler has offered to do something cool we’re calling Mandatory Fun Club. Basically, it’s kind of a guided one-shot, where he helps you get your game setup and guarantees you’ll have at least one player. It’s perfect for people who want to try running something over Hangouts in a lower stakes environment than our normal game calendar.

For details, check out this doc Fowler put together:

Just giving this a bump up in case anyone missed it the first time around.

Just giving this a bump up in case anyone missed it the first time around. I’d really like to see more pins on the map.

I think this is super cool and useful so I’ve put the map in its own separate post (here) for maximum visibility:

+Ferrell Riley has provided a map for all G-Hangouts peeps to pin themselves to. Allowing people to know what players are in your timezones

Kudos to +Johannes Oppermann as the ideas man!

(you don’t have to put your exact address but town or region will do)

Just Insert Imagination is very proud to announce our newest product: Snap Sites.

What is Snap Sites? Snap Sites is a series of system agnostic digital products for Game Masters. What you’ll find inside is a description of a location, a cast of NPCs, a map, props and story ideas. These locations can easily be dropped into your campaign or help you quickly generate a scenario for the night. Each page has been designed to be inserted inside most landscape Game Master screen.

Look out for the link when the first Snap Site, Vamonos Pizza, goes live. It comes with a map of the store, menu, vouchers, employees and customers and some ideas to use in your game.

Anyone planning to attend Dreamation (Morristown, NJ, Feb. 18-21)? If there will be several Gauntleteers in attendance, it might be fun to gather for a game or meal or just meet up between game sessions to put faces with names.
