A quick reminder: early registration for Gauntlet Con games begins tonight at midnight EDT for our Patreon supporters and volunteers. A $2 pledge is all it takes to get in on early registration.

20th – 22nd of October, 2017 – Online RPG convention
We have 102 games on offer for the online RPG convention we’re calling Gauntlet Con 2017!
Here’s the Events site where you can pore over the games, and salivate for the next few days, dreaming of what you could be playing in a few short weeks.
Early registration for Gauntlet Patrons and our con volunteers begins after 7th of September, 2017 at 23:59 PM Eastern
As soon as it’s September 8th for Eastern time zone, all registered folks will be able to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.
This stuff’s gonna go like Beyonce tickets, y’all.
Because Gauntlet Con was a Patron-unlocked goal, it is an event primarily for Patrons of The Gauntlet. Patrons of The Gauntlet and con volunteers will be eligible to register early for the games.
I AM FREAKING OUT, RICH! HOW DO I MAKE SURE I AM REGISTERED?
You need to go to the website above and login with your Google account. The admins have a list of Patrons and will be granting registered status to those folks as fast as we see you. There is no way for us to pre-load the Patreon list, sorry.
Once you’ve logged in and we marked you as Registered, you’re ready to go! Log back in after 7th of September, 2017 at 23:59 PM Eastern and register for games! If you DO NOT get into a game you want, Waitlist yourself! Things change, and RSVP’s change, too. Also, we’ll be watching the Waitlists to see demand. Once you’ve registered, you’ll get emails for all the lovely, lovely games.

Avery Alder is a queer designer hailing from the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqeam, and Tsleil-Waututh. She’s the designer of Monsterhearts, The Quiet Year, Dream Askew, Ribbon Drive, and a host of smaller, scrappier projects. In her design and play, she gravitates toward the moody, the personal, and the transformative. She wants to offer free food and mutual aid to as many people as possible. Her sourdough starter keeps dying but at least her two children are still alive.
During Gauntlet Con, Avery will be running Monsterhearts 2 and Dream Askew.
Eddy Webb (with a “y,” thank you) is a writer, game and narrative designer, and design consultant for video games and RPGs. He has created unique game universes, such as the world of Pugmire. He’s also worked on over a hundred products, including some based on Futurama, Firefly, Red Dwarf, the WWE, and Sherlock Holmes. His career spans over fifteen years and across dozens of companies, and he’s even won a few awards along the way. Today he lives in Ireland with his wife, his roommate, and a sleepy old pug. Dylan Ross, aka The First Keeper, is a long time enthusiast of tabletop RPGs with occasional credits as a Gauntlet Codex Miscellany contributor. He’s been mentioned twice in Gauntlet Podcasts, once by name. He is well known by those who know him well or possibly to someone who played a penguin commando/investigators his Fate Accelerated setting, Penguins vs. Cthulhu [2].
During Gauntlet Con, Dylan will be running The Black Hack: Prisoners of the Gelatinous Dome
Fraser Simons is a cyberpunk enthusiast working on the second book to his game, The Veil. He’s an avid gamer, both analog and video. And looks forward to realizing more game designs he’s currently working on.
During Gauntlet Con, Fraser will be running The Veil: Cascade.
Becky Annison is the award-winning designer of the critically acclaimed games Lovecraftesque and When the Dark is Gone, and is one half of the small press publisher Black Armada games. Becky has been in love with gaming for 26 years and likes to write, run and play games that give you intense feels. She also speaks and writes about RPG design and inclusivity and diversity. When not gaming, Becky likes knitting and detective stories. Becky is relentlessly cheerful, ridiculously creative and so modest she had to get someone else to write this.

Bite Me! iI a tense and emotional game of Werewolf Pack dynamics as Powered by the Apocalypse.

From Shadowrun played on the old #Dumpshock IRC server to Monsterhearts typed out into Google Docs, Jennifer Kitzman has been using digital tools to make games happen for a long time!
She likes long bicycle rides, story games, art, sci fi, comic books and weightlifting. Jen works for SlugFest Games as their Director of Customer Service.

Christopher Challice Running Games at Gauntlet Con
Gauntlet Con is happy to welcome guest Chris Challice. Chris is an avid gamer and mythology buff who lives in Ottawa, Ontario. He grew up engrossed in fantasy/sci-fi, studied the classics at Trent University, and crafted his own mythology with tales told around the campfire at Jungle Cat World in Orono. As a camp counselor, game master and writer, he’s been telling stories for over 25 years, including sharing articles, games, and adventure books.
