One thing I love about all the Gauntlet related podcasts is how seriously the stories are taken.

One thing I love about all the Gauntlet related podcasts is how seriously the stories are taken. I’ve looked around for other DW podcasts to listen to and have mostly been disappointed. I keep starting up podcasts only to get frustrated with how quickly they become absurd joke-fests. I have nothing against players getting together and becoming goofy together. I just don’t learn anything from listening to it.

All of the podcasts In the Gauntlet family are entertaining and instructional. Thank you for being awesome!

Dungeon World (and PBTA games in general) are confusing for people who are used to other systems.

Dungeon World (and PBTA games in general) are confusing for people who are used to other systems. I see a lot of reviews for Dungeon World products that complain about “missing” elements like maps. For people who have only played traditional games, the light touch presented (with perfection) in products like Plundergrounds or Codex can be seen as a failure to fill in the details.

In Dungeon World the details are the domain of the players (including the GM).
