I needed some time to catch-up on Anthology stuff, so last night we did a one-shot of The Shab al-Hiri Roach. A great (and ghoulish) time was had by all. The Roach is far from a perfect game, but it’s always a good time.

I have heard Jason Morningstar say he wants to go back and revise the rules, since he has learned a lot about game design since he made this one a decade ago. I would love to see that, because in terms of setting and theme, The Shab al-Hiri Roach is hard to beat. A rules refresh would be awesome.

Thanks to Rob Ferguson Jacob Densford and Nikki Khan. And thanks and happy birthday to Angel Ludwig!

  1. I was informed that my gratuitous use of photo filters is a bit, well, gratuitous.

But I will not yield. I refuse to have my artistic expression trampled on by the Man or society.
