Hey, I just want to say thanks again for everything you guys do.
My job lets me go listen to headphone while I work so I burn through podcasts/audiobooks/etc really fast.
I was wondering besides the gauntlet, DR, +1, and PSP what does everyone else usually listen to?
Right now I listen to:
Welcome to Nightvale
The Thrilling Adventure Hour
The Black Tapes
Limetown
Lore
One Shot
Memory Palace
Another Question
Fear the Boot
Ken and Robin
Misdirected Mark
‘Gaming & BS’ is a good one to add if you enjoy ‘Misdirected Mark’. I’ve been branching out into some of the partner shows at the networks I enjoy too, like ‘+1 Forward’, ‘Advantage to Insight’, ‘Talking Games’.
Oh, and ‘Talking Tabletop’ is amazing. If you ever enjoyed ‘Inside the Actor’s Studio’ style interview shows, ‘Talking Tabletop’ is a winner.
In non gaming areas, I HIGHLY recommend ‘Criminal’ (at thisiscriminal.com). The stories that show tells are amazing.

If you like AP shows, I would go with Friends at the table. Also Backstory Podcast is amazingly interesting and insightful. Basically anything from the ONE SHOT Podcast network is great. If you allow me to plug some awesome people it’s like DnD is really good so far. Episode 3 just came out and I really enjoy it. Finally, Narrative control comes to mind.

Roosack Gamers Is an AP if you like Savage Worlds or Burning Wheel.
Jank Cast
Otherwise, our tastes overlap. And what Angela Murray said. She’s 99/100% right.

Non-gaming, but I enjoy most of what Gimlet Media puts out. Reply All is my favorite tech show and Science Vs. is an awesome up-and-coming one.

I like, in addition to a lot of what’s been listed, I like NPC cast.

I second all the shows Angela recommended.
I’m a big fan of the System Mastery Podcast. It’s one of the most consistently funny shows I listen to. (They are exceptionally irreverent toward some of the RPG scene’s sacred cows, so if that’s not your thing, you might not enjoy it.)
The RPG Academy is a rather good serious-minded mix of actual plays and discussions.
Along the lines of The Black Tapes and Limetown, check out Knifepoint Horror. It’s a creepy collection of spoken word stories, each one told by one narrator (with some occasional minimal music) as if recounting a personal experience.

An eclectic mix of stuff not already mentioned:

Bizarre States
Magic the Amateuring
Benjamin Walker’s Theory of Everything
Design Games

Except Good Friends of Jackson Elias, the rest of these are non-gaming (but still great):
HP Podcraft
Hardcore History
Radio Lab
Caustic Soda (sadly defunct but archive still up and available)

(aside from many shows already mentioned)
Play on Target is a sharp little roundtable discussion show
Behind the Screen is very D&D focused, a monthly show where DMs talk about what’s going on in their games (15 mins each person)
Tabletop Superhighway A Gaming and Game Design show inspired by Jank Cast’s format
Shut Up and Sit Down A British mostly board game review and discussion show. Oh so good.
GM Word of the Week a gaming-ish show where a word from mostly D&D is explored in the history of gaming and real history as well. Very well produced and often interesting
DLC – A video game discussion show that also talks about tabletop games. Sharp, amusing hosts.
Non Gaming:
Baseball Tonight (baseball!)
Daily Tech Headlines (8 mins of daily tech consumer product info)
The Ihnatko Almanac (Andy Ihnatko talking about tech, life and GTD)
Filmspotting – Streaming Video Unit (movie reviews of things available online)
99% Invisible (srsly, I didn’t see this above, and shocked. shocked. Life and Design)
The Incomparable (roundtable nerd discussion show)
iFanboy Pick of the Week Podcast (comic book reviews)
Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men (look at the history of X-Men comics)
Imaginary Worlds (well produced show about imaginary worlds and why we love them)
Myths and Legends (one guy retells myths and legends, love this one)
Slate’s Culture Gabfest (mostly New Yorkers hob nob and talk about “culture”, I sometimes agree, sometimes hatelisten)
The Moth (storytellers, telling stories live to audiences)
Pop Culture Happy Hour (NPR’s roundtable discussion show on books, movies, TV, and other stuff, very fun)
Radiolab (well produced stories about science)
Where There’s Smoke (advice and inspiration show)
NPR’s Code Switch (new show about racial relations and culture)
Rocket (feminist tech folks talking mostly about Apple stuff, and Beyonce)
The Black List Table Reads (“earmovies” of great scripts that will never be made into real movies)
Yes, I listen to quite a few. Mostly while jogging or staring at spreadsheets.

Not much in my podlist hasn’t been mentioned yet. However!
Gaming:
The Adventuring Party – “Talking about tabletop gaming and the Irish gaming scene so you don’t have to.” Relentlessly punctual, weekly.
Improvised Radio Theatre with Dice – very English two-hander about RPGs, monthly-ish. Goes a bit GURPSy sometimes but that’s OK.
Across the Table – detailed story game analysis and reviews.
Non-gaming:
The Fighting Cock (Tottenham Hotspur fancast)
Improvised Star Trek (comedy)
Peach & Black (Aussie pod who recently completed their mission of reviewing every Prince album)
The Power Vertical (Russian politics and security)
Radio 4 General Knowledge Quiz (varies by season, currently Counterpoint, the music quiz I do very badly at)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms Podcast (English-language retelling in manageable episodes)
Second Captains (Irish Times sport podcast)

I don’t see “Hello from the Magic Tavern” mentioned. It’s an improv show about a guy who fell through a magical portal in present day Earth into the magical land of Foon. He is able to still record and upload podcasts from Foon, so he interviews the citizens of Foon to document their world for Earth’s citizens.

If you like Welcome to Nightvale, Alice Isn’t Dead is also from the same folks and is wonderful. In terms of RPG, I’ve always like Drunks and Dragons as well as Cthulhu and Friends (Lady GM-lead as well).
