I’ve got something VERY exciting for you all. Episode 120 of The Gauntlet Podcast (linked below) is the very first look at Kyle Simons’s game, Operators.
Oh, you want more?
How about the Quickstart rules? They can be found right here:

This is a really exciting project. I’ve seen the full scope of what Kyle has planned for Operators (including some exquisite artwork, unlike anything I’ve ever seen in an RPG) and I can tell you this game is going to be something really special. It’s set for Kickstarter very soon.
In the meantime, check out this episode and the Quickstart rules. And enjoy!

I love the concept of having success and danger to be independent from each other. Reminds me of Ghost Echo.

Horst Wurst Same! I like that the mechanic definitively resolves the action being undertaken (which is something a lot of indie games have muddied in recent years) as well as introducing possible complications.

Thanks for making a game that looks like a perfect way to play shonen anime stories!
