Hello! Episode 114 of The Gauntlet Podcast is here! In this one, I sit down with Andrew Shields, contributing author on Blades in the Dark (and soon-to-be author of the official Blades novel) to talk about his upcoming game, Black Space. Black Space is a sci-fi game that uses The Black Hack as a foundation, but as I learned during the interview, is actually much more than that. Andrew has implemented a lot of really thoughtful design work in Black Space, and in keeping with a theme around here lately, has managed to blend some of the best aspects of modern indie gaming with OSR mechanics to create something I think is going to be really special.
