Tom McGrenery and I present the final episode of Monster of the Week: The Lombardi School!
This has been a really fun AP to put together. Tom was a great player and a fantastic editor. From the outset, we were determined to present something entirely different from the gonzo heroics that are typical of Monster of the Week. I think we were successful in that regard, and a lot of it comes down to the very clever deployment of musical cues and sound effects, but also the basic spirit of collaboration that existed between us.
Thanks again to Tom, and thanks to everyone who gave us constructive feedback throughout. You will be able to hear Tom and I together again on our new podcast, Fear of a Black Dragon!

Wow, this was an awesome series! I particularly enjoyed the consistency of the tone throughout: Robert’s stylish effortlessness clashing with the sinister and creepy opposition. The final conflict really brought this to bear in my mind. In the end, the scene is grim, gore-filled, and downright unsettling. Not sexy at all. Which, in my opinion, only strengthens the appeal of Robert; that, despite the dirty work he finds himself obliged to perform, he manages to be a well manicured gentleman of taste. Well done fellows!

I also want to point out that this is something wholly unique and subverted all of my expectations of how a MotW game might unfold.
