So….once upon a time, I kept up faithfully with a bunch of podcasts, including the Gauntlet’s main cast. Then I fell out of them, as sometimes happens with me, back around…2015 or so? Like, I miss a month or two because of something, and then it gets really hard to get back on the wagon.

So, I come back, and WOW it feels like the podcast content has exploded! Where does an old listener come back on the wagon? Any particular recommendations? I notice there’s a few AP podcasts now, too?

  5. The Gauntlet podcast: start with the ones from the beginning of 2017. There’s an excellent one grief, one on feelings, several good interviews. Discern Realities: all of it. Comic AP: pick your poison, there’s something for everyone. Pocket-Sized: they’re all good. The last 11 are a series, so you might start with the first Mercy Falls episode. It’s quite good, with star players showing how to lean in.

  9. You can dive into Gauntlet, +1 Forward and the AP podcasts pretty much anywhere, though for PSP I highly recommend starting with Episode 1 of Monsterhearts: Mercy Falls. Discern Realities is meant to be listened to from start to finish, though if you don’t have the time for that, this week’s episode (48) was pretty snazzy and so maybe start there?

  11. Thanks a lot, Jason Cordova–it actually really helps to know “you can hop onto X or Y anywhere, but you should listen to Z from the start”. Definitely makes it a lot less intimidating to check out!
