Donate to the ACLU and get a free Lamentations book!
I wanted to bring something really cool to your attention that James Raggi is doing over at the Lamentations store. Basically, if you make a $50 donation to the ACLU, he will send you a free book (or t-shirt)! You guys know I am a huge fan of Lamentations, and this is a great opportunity to check their stuff out and do some good for our country at the same time. Here are the details:
“LotFP is offering a free book to anyone who donates US$50 or more to the ACLU.
Conditions:
-Offer is good for donations made from January 29 2017 onward.
-One free book per person.
-Offer good through February 2017, or until we give away 500 books, whichever comes first.
-Books available through this offer: http://www.lotfp.com/store/
(yes, you can pick a t-shirt instead)
-Email proof of your donation to lotfp@lotfp.com along with your desired book and your shipping address.
-You will not be added to any mailing list, your information won’t be passed on, etc.”
Also, as an attorney who has worked for the ACLU, this means a lot to me, personally.

The ACLU has raised millions this weekend. ✊🏼
As an American citizen who was born in Iran, I too may feel strongly about this.

And if anyone needs a recommendation, I’d go for Carcosa (obvs), Death Frost Doom, or A Red & Pleasant Land.

Blood in the Chocolate by Kiel Chenier is also very good (Kiel is also writing a piece for Codex – Iron).

I just ran Blood in the Chocolate at PAX South with both The Black Hack and Into The Odd ruleset- players loved Blood (especially those that love Willy Wonka). Solid buy for this deal (Also Broodmother SkyFortress is solid).
