  1. Interesting. I suppose the “story game” moniker implies that such games aren’t RPGs and that more traditional RPGs (“trad” games, if you will) care nothing for story. Both statements are plainly untrue. That said, I’m sticking with “story games” because it has become a largely accepted term and it doesn’t hurt anyone. 

    The fact is, whether trad gamers like it or not, story games have earned their place at the RPG table.
