A bunch of 12 sided D6’s. That’s so fun to say.

I’m so confused. I don’t even know what a d6 is anymore!!!

I want these now, I think they would cause panic and mouth foaming at a war game table. also just love unusual dice

I’m confused about how these work. Do they have pips 1-6 printed twice on each die? If so, how is it different from just rolling a single D6?

Jason Cordova That’s what I was wondering, I think it’s just different for whimsical/aesthetic-sake.

Kristen D Actually, it occurs to me they may roll better than a D6, since they are more rounded, so that’s a thing.

Jason Cordova But are they less likely to be wildly flung off the table while rolling?

Kristen D In my experience, only simpletons have that issue.

Jason Cordova yes, the point is that some people don’t think the traditional d6 doesn’t roll well. a lot of people have the same issue with the normal d4.
Kristen D I think they would be more likely to travel and end up off the table. though maybe the excessive vigor some of us put into our rolls stems from the above, not-rolling-good-ness of the cubic d6.

Ooh, nifty. I have some Drinking Dice, which are basically eight-sided d6s.

I got some double fours also which I find roll better than a pyramid…thunk. And yes, cubes don’t roll!

parrish warren I know that a double 4 would roll better, but I can’t help but appreciate shape diversity… without a D4, what will be the top of my dice tower?!

are the sides mirrored? if I have a 1 on top is it sitting on the other 1?

I’ve only seen d20 results. But as for the double sixes they were put in an automatic roller and rolled, oh hell I don’t know how many times. I thought it was interesting that test runs were rejected because they did not meet the standard. In the updates he commented and gave the scientific info. Wednesday FtF a few will behold the beauty!
