I want to take a minute to give dreams to the entire community and say how inspired I am by all the things we have been able to accomplish. When you lean back and take it all in, the Gauntlet is really something special.
We produce six fantastic podcasts, each of which, outside of planned breaks, are released weekly or bi-weekly without fail.
We have an online gaming calendar that features over 100 sessions per month. And the rate at which those sessions make (meaning they don’t get canceled) is over 95%.
We have, for the last twenty months, released a new PDF issue of a highly-polished magazine on the first of the month, every month, with no release gaps whatsoever (and a 40-page bonus issue in the middle of that regular release schedule).
We successfully organized our first online convention, a weekend event with nearly 100 sessions, 10 different panels, and a fucking writing contest. And, it bears repeating, this was the inaugural edition.
But the thing I’m most proud of, the thing that is most difficult to express with numbers, is our community. Gauntleteers are the best players, the best GMs, the best people. We operate in a space organized around principles of kindness, love, and mutual admiration. We are proof you don’t have to be an asshole, you don’t have to be “controversial,” in order to have an opinion or to get people to listen to you. You can push back against the jaded, cynical nature of the internet and embrace an ethos of good cheer and camaraderie, and in the end, you will be so much happier, so much more content.
Dreams, dreams all around. The Gauntlet excites me and leaves my heart feeling full.

Honestly, before I became active here, I really only had a chance to game at the 3 conventions a year I attend. Because of this community you’ve built I have a chance to game with wonderful people almost every week.
