Every year I try to outdo myself when it comes to scheduling special games for Halloween. I’m like that guy whose haunted house keeps getting more and more elaborate.

Here is what I have for this year: over the course of Halloween weekend (Friday – Monday), we’re going to use The Final Girl and Cheat Your Own Adventure to tell the complete, six-part saga of a horror movie franchise called Dia De Los Muertos. Here is a summary of each film in the franchise:

Dia De Los Muertos

It’s the end of the semester, and the seniors of Santa Juanita High are celebrating by throwing a bitchin’ Mexican party. Little do they know, there’s a killer in their midst, and he’s thirsty for more than margaritas. He’s thirsty…for blood!

Can these hot, horny teens survive este noche de terror?

Dia De Los Muertos 2: Revenge of Pork Face

This film picks-up immediately after the events of the first Dia De Los Muertos.

The noche de terror continues as Pork Face brutalizes the citizens of the sleepy, semi-rural town of Santa Juanita.

Dia De Los Muertos 3: Season of the Bruja

A talented dancer has been accepted to a school for gifted young women. What will she do when she discovers the school’s true purpose: to find a suitable bride for the Dark Lord Satan?

Dia De Los Muertos 4: Return of Pork Face

A young boy gifted with psychic powers must explore his family’s past, and learn the truth of his connection to the legendary killer Pork Face.

Dia De Los Muertos 5: Noche De Terror

A screenwriter has been asked to deliver a script for a new entry in the legendary Dia De Los Muertos horror franchise. But can he keep himself together as the line between fantasy and reality begin to blur?

Dia De Los Muertos 6: Alien vs. Pork Face

Get ready for Pork Face…in space! The crew of the Noche have taken on some very unfortunate cargo. Can they survive a battle between two of cinema’s most terrifying monsters?

  7. season 3, I am curious about the strictness of the suitability requirements for the bride of the dark lord satan. Is family history important? what about grades? community service? extra curricular activities? is it possible that the apocalypse is canceled because the bride to be fails a drug test?
