Anyone on the Gauntlet played Power Play by level 99 games. I backed the kickstarter but I’ve had it for a while and it’s not made it to the table yet. Wondering if it’s worth pushing for it to be played?

I’ve played it twice. It has clever bits, but also flaws that make it not very fun. It can end abruptly, in an unsatisfying way. And it can get stuck in stalemate until a player just gives in and lets the other win. But maybe most problematically, players can always somehow rationalize voting however they want. So at this point I’m more likely to design something influenced by it than play it again. Unless maybe I had a chance to play it with the designer, or someone from his core group, just to see how/if they make it fun.

Thanks shame. I love the premise but even listening to it being played I was a bit concerned about the mechanics.
