Hello, everyone! I’ll be in Toronto for a week and I want to buy Dungeon World (as in my home country isn’t available). Is there any place I could get it? I know the Silver Snail only sells only DnD and Warhammer. I’m also interested on buying die sets and battlemaps (things that are also hard to find in my country) for my friends.
Any help would be appreciated!
There is the online SRD that’s available for free.

Jim Crocker I went there and one of the employees told me they only carry DnD and Warhammer.

Sadly, I have never once seen it on a store shelf in the NY metro area. Where are you staying?

Noah Stevens According to his contact page he lives in Montreal but thanks! I would really like to hangout with someone from Toronto that’s into trpg.

Maezar I’m staying in Junction Triangle, TO. I’ll have to move to actually find it. I also don’t mind going to the stores just to pass the time. If I can’t get it that way I’ll probably try to order it thru Amazon or something.

Give 401 games a call – they carry it but don’t always restock quickly.

And if you’re looking to game while in town, TAG is run by excellent humans and have a couple meetups planned: https://www.meetup.com/Toronto-Area-Gamers/

401 Games is likely your best bet. You can check it’s online store to see if it’s in stock. They have a good selection of indie games.

There is a shop called Sword and Board in the neighbourhood that has RPG stuff, but not sure if they have that game. I’ve seen Blades in the Dark and some other indie stuff.

Hey folks, I’m a retailer outside of Toronto (Kingston) and I can attest that there are two distributors in Canada that carry Dungeon World and neither of them currently have it available as of today. Because it’s pretty indie, it goes through waves. Maybe a distributor will get a couple hundred copies in, then ship it out to stores, then wait 6 months to restock it. Probably part of it is DW or IPR not having the cash to keep it perpetually in print? Not sure, but the point is it’s hard to keep in stock, even for retailers that like to carry that sort of game.

Dungeon World is sold out at Meeple Mart and 401 Games FYI. (Just checking both web sites.)

Jim Crocker Sorry, I guess I should have worded differently (did not mean to assign blame). All I know to be true is that distributors (in Canada) don’t always have Dungeon World in stock.
