Looks interesting, but at $50…. I hesitate.

That’s what made me hesitate too!

It looks seriously sweet, I just don’t have the spare cash for it. But I love everything about it.

There’s an AP on the One Shot podcast. It’s run by Keith Baker, so it’s pretty comprehensive. If the AP is a good measure, the game works well but has a steeper learning curve than I’m wanting.

I thought the Gauntlet had officially boycotted non-dice based games.

Its very worth the $50. You get the equivalent of 4 or 5 tarot decks in this game. A single tarot deck can easily be $20 by itself. And with all the custom art… $50 is really, really good.

Nothing against Keith Baker, but I don’t know why, in order to name his game, he took the name of an old rpg, threw in a colon and the word “Dawn,” and called it a day.
Apropos of nothing, you guys should all back the Kickstarter for my new game, Shadow: Dawn Run.

Daniel Fowler If we were boycotting non-dice-based games, that would eliminate The Final Girl, which is obviously unacceptable.

I don’t think he thought of that other game when he was designing this one and this name is a good name that matches the setting world very well.

Oh, I’m sure. It’s a minor point, anyway.
By the way, Shadow: Dawn Run is a sequel to my game G: Dawn URPS.

I backed it along with the other card RPG that was on KS at the same time.
