Today is not an entirely pleasant day on The Gauntlet Blog. Ross Cowman and I have been having a dispute about something that was recently published in Codex. It’s a very fraught and complicated set of circumstances. I was doing my best to keep it all private, but he decided to start litigating the situation publicly, and so after a lot of thought, I determined it was important for me to get my side of the story out there.
I know many of you are friends with Ross and fans of his work, and my position in this situation should not in any way affect that relationship. But I have been the subject of whisper campaigns and outright blacklisting for years (since Metatopia is coming up, here is a good place to remind everyone that I am banned from being on panels at Metatopia because of the most specious, trifling-assed reason imaginable). I could sense this was about to turn into another one of those situations, but this time I’m going to stick up for myself.

This is a shame. Has Ross been talking publicly about this too, was that what prompted you?
You don’t need to talk about this and if you want to delete this comment that’s ok.

Michelle Lyons-McFarland and Robert Bohl I appreciate the check-ins, but I want to refrain from discussing it anymore publicly. In fact, I’m going to just close the comments.
