Really great episode. SCUP is one of my favorite pbta games. Im not into dungeon crawls as much as I used to as a teen. When I think about it, most of the campaigns we played as teen where much more city centered stories anyways. I still love fantasy fiction though and SCUP is the game I was looking for to play the type of fantasy games I personally enjoy.

It’s funny you say that, Maxime Lacoste, because, in my head, that’s kinda what SCUP is. We basically took the game that lots of dungeon crawl campaigns EVENTUALLY descended into and turned that into a whole game. I know when I was playing D&D, we often eventually turned into a thing about city or castle politics, or something, as people started getting invested in that!

This was an excellent episode. I have been looking forward to SCUP since I first heard about it. Now that I have the PDF I can’t wait to give it a run. It was great to hear from the brains behind it!
