One thing to note: I have written the timecodes so they show which moves and GM techniques were used. My hope is this will make it easier for folks to see certain moves in action, as well as show a bit of how I incorporate my own GM style into things. Pocket-Sized Play, to me, has always been about becoming a better player and GM, not just entertainment, and these timecodes are very much in that spirit. Let me know what you think of them!

Enjoy!

  1. I’m gonna listen to the whole thing regardless 😉

Episode zero really piqued my interest. Can’t wait to consume this series. Thanks Gauntleteers.

  3. Chris Shorb , I couldn’t find it in Pocket Casts, but when I pasted the above RSS URL into the search line, it came up right away. That might work for you.

  5. This is great! So much to learn and admire here, from players and GM. I’m still glad I’ve watched all of the original videos, because in editing it down you miss how much pauses and time you give the players to mull over questions.

Minor editing quibble: the intro music going over the starting dialogue makes it hard to catch the first sentences. And it ends a little abruptly. Maybe just a little pause before it goes to outro.
