I was telling a fellow Dungeon World player about Jason Cordova’s dungeon move that basically abstracts the entire dungeon into a roll or series of rolls. He was intrigued so I was hoping someone could link me to that move or explain it to me. Hopefully I’m remembering it properly.

It’s the Labyrinth Move, and it was actually written to abstract a literal labyrinth (meaning a vast, difficult to map space in which you could easily get lost). It wasn’t written for dungeon crawls, though Tom McGrenery has done some interesting adaptations, which he talks about on this episode of Fear of a Black Dragon at 22:30. gauntlet-rpg.com – The Keep on the Borderlands

Does anyone have a list of 7-3-1 examples? I’d love to have something small I could pull ideas from on the fly when my imagination has failed me.

Phillip Wessels Very cool (thought I can’t actually read any of them). I meant like a google doc – in the syllabus I’ve got a list of starters borrowed from various sources, I printed them as a booklet so I can pick one that grabs my attention without prep.
