So apparently I should be posting my blog articles here. I’m resistant to, because I feel like it’s shameless self promotion. But honestly, the Gauntleteers have heavily helped me weed out my thoughts on my blog posts. I ask questions of this community constantly and read your answers and it really helps me think about how I want to approach what I’m writing.
So thank you, Gauntleteers. You’ve all been so amazing and helpful and are such an incredibly strong community. Here’s the most recent blog article based on the questions I asked days ago about Avenger characters. A big thanks to Jason Cordova for the trope recommendation.

Very interesting, thoughtful piece. And what does the avenger do after vengeance is achieved?

This was a great post Kate! I agree on many of your points. I think the Avenger is often undervalued and used as a crutch to answer questions to the effect of “Why are you an adventurer?” And yes, too often it’s a male character fridging a female off-screen to justify it.
