Any Gauntleteers in the Orlando area? Any recommendations for good brick and mortar game stores?

  1. Sci-Fi City is pretty close and probably the most traditional game store (http://www.sci-fi-city.com/orlando.htm).

There’s A Comic Shop — literally, that’s its name — (https://www.facebook.com/A.Comic.Shop/) it’s just a comic shop though, but there’s a “Geek Easy” in the back where they might have games.

There’s any number of Coliseum of Comics locations (https://coliseumofcomics.com/) also largely a comic shop but they have some games.

Cool Stuff in Maitland would be a bit of a drive, but they have other locations, including in Waterford Lakes, and they have huge events every weekend. (http://www.coolstuffgames.com/)

Finally there’s Cloak & Blaster which is a “gaming pub for geeks”. It’s a bar, but they’ve got a pile of board games and they have geeky videos on the TVs instead of sports, and a video game lounge upstairs. Good food, too. Also in the Waterford Lakes area.

Also, though it may be far, I would be remiss not to mention Living Dead Comics, which my friend Freddie owns. It’s closer to downtown, on the east side. (https://www.facebook.com/LivingDeadComics/)

  3. Oooh, awesome! Thanks! I’ve been to Sci Fi city before, but I’ll be sure to check those others out too!

Any other Gauntleteers in the area?

  5. I live a couple hours south and admittedly don’t get up that way very often, but I would recommend Sci-Fi City as that’s the only place I can really remember being worth making a visit to. Enjoy your stay!
