Hey Jason Cordova. Are you familiar with The Drifting Classroom? Your blurb for Innocents made me think of it. Now I’m dreaming up creepy future content with that in mind.

No, but I just looked it up, and it seems like my jam. I’m not a manga guy, how does one normally get ahold of them or consume them?

Fraser Simons That’s a brilliant idea! They usually have guided view so you can just let it take you to the next frame. I love Comixology.

Our public library has a lot of manga. If I remember correctly, that’s one of the traditional style books that requires you to read in the opposite direction from what most Americans are used to. I was captivated by it. It’s incredibly dark. The creator doesn’t pull any punches but the characters are great and I couldn’t wait to find out more.

I love guided view as well yeah, feels very cinematic to me and on full page spreads with lots of dialogue it takes you along. I like it a lot.

My library has it. I like how every cover is an image of a young kid screaming, backed with shadowy creepy art textures.

Looked up series on Wikipedia, and there was a movie which according to Wiki “It is unusual among Japanese movies in that most of the dialogue is in English.” So if you can find it, you may also be able to watch it?
