Check out my new prototype RPG box (sometimes referred to as a Jason box). Its 3D printed in blue PLA and includes two laser cut pieces of acrylic.
Also check out two Conan inspired pieces of art commissioned from the gauntlet’s own Nery Mejicano. Expect to see these in dice towers soon.
Tell me what you think.
Cool! What do you keep in your Jason box Fowler?

This is beautiful craftsmanship. You are the official Savvyhead of the Gauntlet. 😉

I’m interested in how you made the locking/cover mechanism… It seems like that large of an overhang would be difficult.
And the important question, where are the .stl’s 🙂

I love the idea of the “Jason box.” I have an old attache case that I want to turn into one, but I’m not sure how I want it to be organized yet.

Adam Ness the box is actually 3 printed pieces. the middle with the divisions, and two frames. the top frame has an open side to slide out the acrylic. I used pegs and holes and glue to bind the three pieces together and trap the bottom acrylic.
I’m not making the files public right now. but look out for an Etsy store in the near future.

the locking action is mostly a product of the tight tolerances and friction. I may enhance this with a rubber patch under the lip
