Don’t know if people have seen this yet, but might change the game space (through players bringing in new tone/settings) or bring in new interest to the hobby through the Lovecraft-ian connection. I’ll be honest (if unpopular) and say that this is the first lovecraft related piece that really interests me. If it is as good as the talent and animation have the potential to be, I might even be open to playing something in a that universe for the first time 😊

  1. This appears to be a sequel, so presumably the first is already out in the world. It looks like it could be fun, although it seems unlikely that it will be able to capture an actual lovecraftian tone. A parody of said tone, perhaps.

  3. I saw the first one at the HPLFF this year, and it was pretty rough. Good ideas, but tragically poor animation and a script that was basically a 2nd rate Rankin-Bass special.

A bigger budget definitely would have helped.
