Got here by way of Discern Realities, so I listened through all Domenico’s episodes first, of course, but now that I’m branching out and listening to less familiar things, I find I’m really appreciating them all. It’s rather interesting to listen in on a game that’s being run in a system I don’t understand, at least in the CSAP format. Also, I don’t usually run one-on-one games, but hearing games with one player character is giving me great ideas for how to flesh out the individuals within an ensemble cast, what kinds of questions to ask, that sort of thing.

I don’t like Actual Play podcasts. Except for this one. It’s really good. Pass it on.

  1. I too am liking the short small format – more than I though I might.

I have enjoyed the Sorcerer series no other yet …and listening to the story for a system I have no clue (nor real care) about allows to focus on the questions & answers.

Might actually try this with an interested member (or 2) of our group game, taking a prequel story for a character or 2

  3. I’ve been loving the Sorcerer APs, especially because you can’t find audio APs of Sorcerer anywhere else on the internets. Great job, and with a great GM to boot (and player!).
