I just finished listening to the fifth episode of the Young At Heart Comic Strip AP and it was pretty terrific. YG Mitchell has done some really beautiful sound work on it, and the story he and Fraser Simons are telling is so human, and not so much about baseball as it is about a man at a crossroads in his life, looking back on where he’s come from. It’s just a lovely bit of AP. Here are some links:

And check out the game, too! I have a (largely undeserved, but nonetheless flattering) credit in it, and Oli Jeffery has done a really beautiful layout. http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/198376/Young-At-Heart

  1. Thanks! It’s fun experimenting with Sound Design in this medium, trying to find the best mixture of colour and environment, while keeping play as essential to the story.

The game is leading us down all sorts of unexpected routes so I’m excited to see where it takes us next!
