Apocalypse World: Dark Ages
Given that it’s now officially (I think?) dead, does anyone have a copy of the AW:DA beta they could send me? I’d love to see what almost was.

You could do worse than look at LaTorra, Riddle, Harper’s version of Dark Ages: A Storm Eternal

Thanks!
Thanks!
I put it what I have in a folder at the link below. It’s a real shame nothing ever came of it; our playtests were fun, and it had a load of neat concepts.

Jason Cordova Thanks! It was actually the Gauntlet that got me thinking about it again as I’ve worked my way back through the episodes I missed and just got to Anticipated Games of 2015 where this comes up alongside the similarly lamented Explosions: The RPG.

Haha. I’m going to tag Grant Howitt to let him know there is still an unrequited love in the world for Explosions: the RPG.

Look, look: one day. One day I’ll work out how to write it. I’m so sorry.

From what I can find, it looks like the final product partially got changed into Apoc World: Fallen Empires, and was available via his Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/posts/aw-fallen-3928011 )
I also saw some info that the notes for Dark Age had been passed to Sage Latorra and John Harper to try and work up into something. ( site for that seems to be http://astormeternal.com/ )
Also brought up was City of Judas which is a PbtA Hack (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/150754/City-of-Judas), so I’m planning to check that out when I have time.
Still digging for the .ZIP of the files.

Addendum: Looks like you can get both the Playbooks & the PlayTesting Material via http://lumpley.com/index.php/awda

Ferrell Riley I would love to play City of Judas sometimes as well, I got it on drivethru a while back and the setting is super cool.
