I thought you all might get a kick out of this. This is from the first time my brother, sister and I ever played an RPG. My brother and I were 8-9 and my sister 3-4. I think it was AD&D. Mine is lost though, I was Ben, who had a familiar named Charle the monkey. I also had a horse named Ben the Great, my parents thought it was hilarious the horse was the great one and not the old wizard Ben. I would send my familiar into every nook and crevice much to my uncle, the GMs delight — one time though, it got me a ring of shooting stars!

My brother was Shemize the ranger, our friend was Schvindle the theif, my sister was TuTu Leefong the cleric. Basically she would be wandering around with us and she would suddenly appear when we needed heals, otherwise she was watching tv or doing other things.

I remember one time, we were packed in a single file corridor and we were being attacked, I was at the rear of the party and when my uncle asked me what I wanted to do, I said I wanted to use my ring of shooting stars! Everyone in front of me did not like that.
