  1. hah! What a great episode, I vote for releasing the video — after all that gushing it would be uncouth not to give it to us(me)! Also, I started Stranger Things last night..and I’m on episode 5 now ha! I really like it.

  3. Tom McGrenery Haha, so a Brainer’s efficacy isn’t gauged by their niceness, but instead by other’s fear toward the Brainer! I like it. Noted. 😉

  5. Since y’all mentioned it, I was just taking a look at all the player/GM handouts for Masks last night… They are SO GOOD! It’s probably the cleanest and easiest to understand GM sheet for any PbtA game I’ve ever seen. I love the playbook specific moves especially. It’s something I’ve tried to do before for myself with other games.

Anyway, can wait to hear Jason Cordova gush about it two years from now!

  7. Re: Savage Worlds, it’s worth pointing out that, while you will ace more often with a d4, considering that the target number for any test is nearly always 4, you will fail more often, too. To succeed with a d4, on which you have 3 out of 4 chances to fail, you have to ace (and if you’re attempting to use a skill in which you’re untrained, you have to ace and then roll at least a 2).

A d6 gives you a 50/50 shot to succeed, and a d12 gives you a two-thirds chance. Sure, you don’t ace as often, but those are much better odds.
