So, I’ve noticed the “Saturday Morning Cartoons” games get filled up super quickly. Like, I think too long about potentially joining, and BAM, the event is full…
So if I ran YET ANOTHER game on Saturdays, early morning, I THINK that is where the demand is. I’m considering ditching the regular mid-week sessions idea in favor of occasional mid-week one-shots (Once I’m done with the White Wizard Sessions) in favor of this. Thoughts?
I sort of tried that two weeks ago…though I did so on very short notice. I’d suggest hyping it in advance for a couple of weeks at least.

Also, Jason and Rich are the OG’s and also the voices on the podcast AND a huge part of why the community exists anyway (Thanks guys!) So, If ppl are clamoring specifically for the games they run, that’s awesome and makes total sense. Game on.
That being said, if Saturday mornings are the most viable gaming time for the busy people with real lives to attend to, and people are missing out due to limited space, I’d be happy to open up more opportunities.

I would run that time slot regularly save that my campaign with my brother runs about the same time. However, given his work schedule often makes us skip a week, I hope to be semi-regularly adding something to that slot.

other time slots for me are problematic because I live in Japan and when I take into account my time slots with the people on this side of the sphere (mostly Australians) I don’t have too many American or European friendly slots left.

may I ask what you would be running?

I’d take suggestions , as long as they’re not too outlandish, and not super heavy on the GM prep.
That being said, I’d love to run “The Hood” or “Uncharted Worlds.”

Daniel Lugo I think the success of SMC is a mix of the games we run, who is running them, and the fact it’s a time most people are available. Those are three really important components to figuring out how successful something will be on Gauntlet Hangouts. So, for example, Luke’s Masks game filled pretty easily, because it’s a game people are really interested in, and so it mitigates the fact that not many people in this community knew Luke beforehand. The other games he put on the calendar were a challenge, because they were more obscure.
My advice if you intend to put something up on Saturday Mornings, at least to start, is to put up a big-ticket game like DW or something.

Yeah, I should have waited to try the Divine Blood thing. But Masks did indeed fill quickly and Just a Game has 2 or 3 players as it is.
