Played One Last Job one last time with my local Baltimore crew last night. We managed to have a good time, but we basically had to ignore all the action scene rules.
Next time I want to play some gonzo raid/task related stuff, I’m pull up Goblin Quest.
Or Havoc Brigade! That game is seriously underrated.

The action scene rules are a little fiddly, but they’ve always worked alright for me. I did have to make a reference sheet for them though, because they’re not necessarily presented in a way that makes sense in the text. Here’s the sheet if anyone wants it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qkEXhThRCK34ds4-lTGktVnJG0clTZFc-F9UO-dc4cI/edit?usp=sharing

I can’t comprehend why I haven’t been able to bring Havoc Brigade to the table. I have it. I have laminated character sheets, even.

I have two huge accordion folders of laminated play aids. They don’t see much use now that i mostly game online, but they were super cool (and convenient) in FtF play.
