New Episode of the Gauntlet Podcast, New Website, and Podcast Release Schedule
Hi everyone. Below is a link to the newest episode of The Gauntlet Podcast. It’s a pretty great episode, particularly the discussion in the beginning about transition sessions, and the Community Feedback segment, which is very much in line with how I see that segment going in the future. It is also a slim 42 minutes, which is a length I hope we can maintain going forward.
Big thanks to Kristen D for filling-in for me these last few weeks. She did an awesome job, and I’m so happy she was able to help us out.
You will notice the link goes to a different website. That’s one of the things I’ve been working on during my podcast sabbatical. It’s still a pretty simple site, and will eventually get built-out more, but take a look around. We welcome your feedback.
Finally, our podcast release schedule is going to be The Gauntlet Podcast on Sundays; +1 Forward on Wednesdays; and Discern Realities on Fridays. The shows won’t always be weekly (in fact, +1 Forward is bi-weekly to start), but when they do land, those are the days you can expect to see them.
With that in mind, the first episode of +1 Forward will be out this Wednesday, May 4th (!!!)
Here are the time codes for this week’s episode:

So, forgive the stupid question, but how do I download the podcast from the new website so i can listen to it in my car on the drive home?

Steven Warble Not a stupid question at all. One of the big unknowns for me is how people listen to the podcast. I use a podcast app on my phone, and I imagine a lot of people use iTunes. Here is a link to the traditional site until I get that sorted out:

Steven Warble I changed the style of the player. It has a download button now (and some other options). Will you check that out for me and see if it works for you?

Thanks! I need my weekly gauntlet!

New download button works fine. As to how I listen to the Gauntlet and other podcasts… I download them to a flash drive over the course of the work week, then at the end of the week I take the flash drive to my car and listen to them while driving to work all week.

Thanks to Daniel Fowler and Steve Mains for playing Sherlock at my place. I gotta say even though we nearly started a riot after our game we all had a good time. And Daniel was the Dracula advocate, which was just smokescreen for him being a werewolf.
Thanks to Richard Rogers for the Masks feedback, I’ll be stealing liberally for when I run it.
