Last Night we had Star Wars World, another lovely session where we got everyone hooked on drugs made out of something that makes you depressed! And possibly possessed by trees/fish people.

Andrew Medeiros This is our second session with the flags. The first time we used them was kind of bumpy, and we had a tendency to forget they were a thing. This time, things went muuuuuch smoother, and we were triggering them left and right. Partly this was an improvement in presentation: we wrote down the full(-ish) flags for each character on index card tents so everyone could see.
This time around, we also took the XP gained through flags as it happened instead of at the end of the session. This requires tracking which flags have been triggered and by whom (which I think next time we may cover with a dry-erase matrix or just on a notecard so everyone doesn’t have to keep their own list), but I think it’s worth it for the in-the-moment encouragement of XP.
So far really liking them.

We’ve also been using a Noteboard (http://thenoteboard.com/) for the last few sessions. It’s been working really well. It’s nice to have an adjustably-sized dry erase drawing surface. Between last session and this one, I folded it up and stored it as normal with quite a lot drawn on it, and found that 98% of it was still intact when I got it back it. Pretty cool.
