Treasures!
One of the awesome things about going to conventions like Dreamation is you can pick up stuff that is not easy to find in stores. Also, Jason Morningstar might give you a pink army man for some reason.

So much good stuff! After your show with Hannah Shaffer I was really intrigued by 14 Days (my ex-wife had a chronic illness with chronic pain so I totally understand the need to teach empathy for such things). I would also love to hear more about Spark.

Also not sure where to find The Name of Bronze (Joshua Newman?)

If you decide to run Technoir over Gauntlet Hangouts, hopefully I’ll be able to join in. I’ve had it for years now and only played in a really short-lived PbP game.

Yes, show me your best bird haiku. Now we’re talking business.

Robert Ruthven, you and Daniel Lewis should get together. He’s a big fan of Technoir. In fact, Technoir was a major point of discussion in Episode 0 of The Gauntlet Podcast, iirc.

Oh nice! I was just thinking I need more Technoir in my life.

Oh hey, I should get Daniel/Robert to try out my Technoir transmissions.
Before that, I should finish the Connections write-ups.

Tom McGrenery What Transmissions are you working on? (Wish there were more of those going around for Technoir)

Actually, now that I’m thinking of it, Daniel Lewis, how one-shot friendly is Technoir? The Transmissions/plot maps make it seem best suited for campaign play.

I don’t think I’d want to run it as a 1-shot, but it works really well with 2 sessions. There was a nice flow of discovering the plot in session 1 and resolving it in session 2. By the end of session 1, we had filled out the entire plot web (though there were a few links that the players hadn’t discovered yet). I started session 2 with a little twist that exposed the last few links and then basically gave the players an entire session to deal with things however they wanted. I think it might feel a bit rushed if you tried to squeeze everything in a single session.
