Here’s how the game works.  One player is the spymaster for each team.  The spymasters know which word cards they need to get their teammate(s) to guess, but they want to do it in as few clues as possible.  So they take turns giving clues that hopefully will link several cards at once, like so:  “Circle 2.”  That indicates there are two cards that have something to do with the word circle.  For this round, your clue is “Inverted 2.”  So there are two cards that are related, somehow, to the word inverted.  Note that as more cards get correctly chosen–and we’re the blue team–sometimes the spymaster has to get a little… creative.

  3. Of course, I’m not sure what my reasoning is. I think it has something to do with pipes being cylinders in the ground and towers being cylinders coming out of the ground. Or something?
